The inauguration of Bachelor's degrees for Communication Science Students at Gajayana University Malang (Uniga) was officially held through a series of 5th Period Judicial events which were held on Wednesday, 7 August 2024 at the Tani Cafe, Dau District, Malang Regency. As a symbol of having fulfilled the academic requirements to hold the Bachelor of Communication Science (S.I.Kom) degree, the Class of 20 students who came from various parts of Indonesia were officially confirmed by the Head of the Communication Science Study Program representing the Dean of the Faculty of Social and Cultural Sciences.
"This is a precious moment. After going through a long process, today we should be grateful. I am very proud and I must also appreciate the activity of the evening class students in the Class of 2020," said the Head of the Communication Science Study Program, Muhammad Asnan, S.Sos., M.I.Kom. Apart from that, he also repeated emotional stories about memories while accompanying his students during their studies.
The FISB Dean's Decree (SK) was read directly by the Secretary of the Communication Science Study Program, Irfani Zukhrufillah, S.Sos., M.I.Kom., which was followed by the pinning of a sash as a sign that they were valid and declared to have passed. This year's Judiciary procession became interesting with the screening of the short film "Eling lan Waspodho" directed by I Wayan Windu Darmawan and Mayo Nakashi as producers.
"This film is the third and final episode of the 313 sequel which will soon be broadcast on the YouTube Channel. Hopefully it will provide benefits and be an inspiration for Ikom's younger siblings in the future," said Windu and Mayo in unison in answering MC's questions when interviewed.
To conclude the event, all Yudisium participants received congratulations from all the invitees and lecturers present. Apart from that, souvenirs were also handed over to the lecturers as mementos represented by Indah Ayu Puspita on behalf of all Yudisium participants.
